All Days are Days-Off
They use to be young and active and full of energy. There was a great variety of things they had to do and 24 hours a day was to small amount of time. Though, they are old now and things are changed. They have a lot of time but they have nothing to spend that time for. They were thirsty for the day-off when they were young but today every day for them is the day-off.
They have a lot of time and they have only their kids and their grandchildren to care about. That is why they often grant those people with too much attention. Their children are grown up and they can deal with their lives on their own. That is why they ask their parents to stay away from their lives. They are adult enough to care about their lives and lives of their children.
Though, grannies still have nothing to spend their free time for and they start bothering about lives of those people they don't really know. They care about lives and problems of those people who live next to them. They pry and poke the lives of their neighbors and people they meet at shops or some place else. That is why people sometimes are irritated with them.
But, it is wrong for people to feel like that about grannies. They are just old people who used to be of great importance in this world but now they are old and forgotten. They are looking for attention and conversation; they just can't find the better way to get it.
