I'm All Ears!
This is another peculiar kind of old ladies who have all the day in their lives as the days-off. They have nothing to do and they have no one to care about. Though, it is boring watching TV all days long and so they are looking for something interesting in their lives and they find that something interesting in lives of other people.
It is like watching some kind of reality show for them. They poke and pry lives of other people and they are looking for something they can talk about. And they are usually successful in these efforts and they always find something they can talk about and something they can complain about. And this ability is the most irritating ability of old ladies.
People grow mad and irritated about old ladies stick up their noses into their lives and they give their pieces of advice and they think they have a right to tell people what is good and what is not. That is why most young people are irritated with the old neighbors.
They are tired of that attention and they want it to be gone. In order to get rid of that irritating attention it is enough to talk to old ladies, to ask them about how they feel and so on and so forth. They just need your attention, the attention they use to have.
