They sit at home and they have nothing to do, they have nothing to spend their free time for when their grandchildren are not with them. Though, they are bored and they are looking for new emotions and for the activity of this life. Though, they can't go to the night club or do something wild like young people do and so they are looking for that activity in loves of other people.
They usually know everything about everyone who lives next to them. They know the time their neighbors wake up and the time they go to their work, they know when they are back at home and they know people they are at home with. They know everything you may never even think about. That is why police usually ask old ladies about things.
It is not like they are cruel or mean, but it is like they are lonely and they need something to happen in their lives, but nothing happen and they grow interested at lives of other people. Never grow mad about them, they never want to harm or hurt you, they just try to make their live interesting and they need your attention and events of your life.
Though, they will never harm you and they will never do something wrong to you. It is the attention they need, be kind to them and you will find out everything about people who live in your district or in your house.
